Performance analysis
The targeted analysis of components for your application provides us with valuable data that we use for the material-development or to create application recommendations. We are at your disposal as a service provider for analysis of your particular components.
We offer you:
- electron microscope analysis of worn tools and components. You will receive an analysis of wear patterns and thus notes on optimum choice of carbide grades or operating parameters.
- Analysis of the surface quality of new tools. With this service we particularly support the tool development of our customers and can already make qualified statements about the performance of the tool used, and possible optimizations in advance.
- Chemical analysis of workpieces and materials. These include the X-ray-fluorescence-analysis, microscopy and the determination of mechanical properties.
Material Development
New machining tasks on the one hand and the development of the available raw materials on the other hand require a constant updating of our carbide range. Existing carbide grades are optimized and entirely new ones developed. The base for this development work are feedback and suggestions from the application of our carbide products, its own research projects and our cooperation with research institutions such as the Technical University of Berlin and the Fraunhofer Institute “IKB” in Dresden. We are always up to date and state of the art.
Process development
